It's another weekend of activity involving various teams from the West Leeds Eagle's.

It is another weekend of action involving teams from West Leeds Eagles which has resulted in a Cup Final and a coach trip to the North East.

Our under 10's start the weekend with a home fixture against Wyke with a 10.30 am kick off. The under 12's travel to Normanton for a game which has a 12.30 kick off.

The Boys under 14's are involved in one of the most important games of their season, when they take on neighbours Stanningley SARLC in the cup final at the John Charles Centre in South Leeds, where a good contingent from West Leeds is expected to travel and voice their support in a game which has a 10.30 am kick off.

Whitley Bay, who visited West Leeds recently, are host to all our Girl's teams, in what should be a good day's rugby league in the coastal town, and undoubtedly an enjoyable one off the field for those making the journey.

Our open age men are engaged in their second home fixture of the season, when they are host to Hollinwood. This fixture has a scheduled kick off time of 2.30 pm.

On Sunday, we have two games scheduled on home soil. The ever improving under 8's welcome neighbour's Guiseley which has a 10.30 am kick off. This is followed by our boy's under 16's, who are host to Queensbury arlfc from Bradford. This game has a scheduled kick off time of 12 O'clock, and will be an emotional day for all concerned with the 16's, as this game will be the last fixture they will play as a boys/youth team before they move up to open age.

We hope you will join us for what appears to be an exciting weekend of Rugby League at all age levels involving our boys, girls and men. Hot and cold refreshments will be available from the team kiosk, as well as a little of the hard stuff from the club house to keep you warm during the cold spell.

A reminder also that, although most of the junior sides are ready for completing their summer season, ALL our sides are always looking for new players, so if you have a child/children, boy/s or girl/s, or know of anyone interested who would like to try our great game, then why not bring them down to the club and meet some of our current players, talk to our coach's and management, they would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
