Saturday 17 November see's West Leeds Open Age men in cup-tie action against Halifax side Illingworth ARLFC. Illingworth are a well established club, being founded in 1961 in Holmfield, Halifax.

This first round Pennine Supplementary Cup tie is a re-arranged game after the original tie was postponed a week ago by the opposing team and was re-arranged for this Saturday after confirmation was received last night. Our scheduled fixture for this weekend, against neighbours Wortley, is now postponed with the cup taking priority. The tie now is now dependant on any unforeseen problems and of course, the weather, with frosty and waterlogged pitches now becoming a problem.

If everything goes to plan, the game will kick off of at 2 pm, hot/cold drinks will be available from the team hut, and the club house will be open as usual for those like a stronger type of beverage.
