Andy Smith returns to sidelines in first game in charge

The Ladies have a change of opponents than was originally scheduled this Sunday, kick-off 11 am, we welcome neighbours East Leeds in a Premier Division fixture.
With Coach Andy Smith returning to the sidelines for his first competitive game since taking over the reigns from Laura Wilson, he said in a recent posting:
“Off the back of a convincing 46-6 victory against South Leeds Spartans last weekend, we want to keep that momentum going. It is important that we keep in mind our victory last week entitles is to nothing this week.
This is a different team, different venue, and different set of players. Meaning we have to be switched on from the first whistle to the last to ensure we come away with the 2 points we all want against East Leeds.
With captain Sam Trenaman being unable to play this week, Kirsty Mills steps in as captain, and after last weeks performance and efforts in training we have decided to offer Han Carty the role of vice captain. Which I am sure you will all agree is thoroughly deserved.”
Fixtures, at all levels, against East Leeds, have always bee tight, well fought games with very little given away on the rugby field, so we are expecting another tight affair this Sunday.
