A tough game against a tough team but as always there’s positives to take, the completion rate firstly at a season high of 83% is far better. Our contact for the majority of the game was good, and we came onto the ball at pace looking to hit the gap instead of the defenders in front of us. The most pleasing aspect of today’s game though was that desire to continue to work hard from the first whistle to the last, that was very commendable today so well done!

So why did we lose? Markers & ground work!!!

Featherstone are a quick team who love playing against a defence on the back foot and despite our scrambling defence being good we are always going to concede tries unless we dominate the PTB.
