West Leeds Girls U12s are seeking to record their opening win of the 2022 campaign this Saturday, when they welcome Bradford side West Bowling to Redshaw Road in an Under 12s East Division B fixture. The game has a scheduled kick-off time of 11am.

The West Bowling girls will provide stiff opposition to the newly formed Eagles side, with the Bradford girls recording an impressive 24-12 home win over East Leeds in last weekends opening fixture.

Asked about the game on Saturday, coach, Lee Dimberline said that “after Wednesdays training I am hoping the hard work the girls put in with their tackling and line speed will transfer to the game on Saturday. The girls are making good progress with each session, and we hope we can come away with our first win of the season.”

Other fixture's in Division B this weekend include Illingworth v Elland on Saturday, and East Leeds v Featherstone Lionesses on Sunday.
